Hello there!

I was wondering if it is possible to have two smaller sidebars instead of one (so basically I would like to split the sidebar into two). Is this possible (and if so how could I do that)?

EDIT:

Just a note – everything appears to work (and work well) in IE. It’s just the Done, But With Errors on Page message that’s a bothersome.

Hi Derek,

I really like the work you’ve put into this theme. Congrats on producing such a great looking product.

I started a blog for my girlfriend and installed this theme – in Firefox and Safari, it’s perfect. In IE, however, I get Javascript errors – the typical, “Done, but with errors on page.” at the bottom.

I didn’t change any of the code. I wanted to use it as is because I don’t think it requires any modifications (aside from changing the e-mail address and handling asides).

Any thoughts on this?

I agree, Derek. There’s nothing wrong with the theme. Something caused a bit of a malfunction, but I have no idea what that something was. The 5thirtyonev2 theme is still the greatest Wordpress theme I’ve seen.

I’m not going to blame it on the theme. It’s been out for awhile and I have yet to hear of any similar complaints. Must have been one of those weird occurrences.

Thanks Derek. I tried disabling all of the plugins, and none of them had an effect. So I took the comments code from another Wordpress theme, and now everything works! I can now add a new comment, and it appears straight away, whereas previously (with the 5thirtyonev2 code) it would remain hidden for a couple of days before showing up within the post. Very, very weird.

I am going to say it is probably safe to assume it is either a) a plugin, or b) WordPress. The V2 theme is as stripped down as they come. I’m not sure what plugins are installed on your site but try debugging by disabling any comment related installations (first), then the rest second.
