If we lived in a Pixar world
If life mimicked that found in Disney’s upcoming Pixar movie ‘Cars’, I would definitely be driving Lightning McQueen. Actually, nix that. ‘Cars’ is all about cars which seem to drive themselves. I’ll have to rethink my previous statement. I was going to say that I wanted to be Lightning McQueen, but I don’t think that’ll work.
The State Farm sponsored Disney/Pixar’s “‘Cars’ Road Trip ’06″ just so happened to hit Seattle today on its road trip across America. Not to be mistaken for immovable movie props, these vehicles are actual automobiles with bulbous body work styled straight out of the upcoming Pixar movie. Call me a big kid at heart, but these cars look fun. On top of that, Lightning McQueen sounds like a race ready top fuel car and sure has the look with its Goodyear Lightyear drag slicks.

Shocking! -ro1n74ah
this is not the only pixar or animated movie this summer….more is coming out there and the “child” breaks through
this summer will be a cinematic-bombastic-ultimatic summer, not only because of maggie q, this girl is kicking ass ( sorry for that *** word )
The only Pixar flick I was aware of that was coming out this summer is ‘Cars’. What other movies are coming out?
Don’t exactly know why, but from the trailers I am not too excited about this film. I hope I am mistaken and the film is better than the trailers.
I think the film will be entertaining. I have to confess that one of the reasons why I want to check this film out is the fact that it is a ‘Pixar’ film. I’ve never been disappointed by a CG film coming from Pixar and seeing these cars in the flesh should account for something. Who knows though right? I never saw a “Nemo Road Trip”.
the films this summer will be…i hope i dont forget one:
“over the hedge”
“the ant bully”
a german movie/production “urmel”
“the wild”
“monster house” in august
“the barnyard”
then
“open season”
“happy feet” from warnerbros
and another one from dreamworks ” flushed away”
a lot i think, but the child in me says YES!
That’s quite a list, but those movies aren’t being released by Pixar.
i was wrong and didnt write it correctly…i meant animated in general not only by pixar – you are right, im sorry
dreamworks, warnerbros…all big producing companys try it this year with an animated film. and perhaps they are all inspired by pixar and their work – or its because of the money
but, ice-age2 is a movie they other one have to beat first
Perfect example of life imitates art
