The Uber Cow, Volkswagen MkV R32 Teaser

Since its purchase date via CarsDirect, the Volkswagen MkV R32 has earned itself the nickname "uber cow" due the black & white motif and its curb weight (shout out to Accutint and Speedware Motorsports for the help). After a few modifications, the car feels like a completely different set of wheels.

In preparation for a Volkswagen enthusiasts gathering, Phil snagged some footage of the car and edited the clips into a short teaser video above. FYI, the song playing in the background is "This Language" by Stateless.

  1. That’s a pretty sweet ride right there. Although I’m not a big fan of the R32. But your modifications made it damn tight.

  2. oneighturbo says:

“Uber Cow” love it. one guy here calls his Jetta 1.8T “The Pig”

teaser is wicked. the .:R is wicked. stateless is wicked.

    is that a stock exhaust?

to bad im in the ATL, id love to ride out with the crew.

  3. Derek says:

I’m on the fence if I should get uber cow on a euro plate to slap on the front. Exhaust is stock + flapper mod (of course). Still debating the Neuspeed or Milltek exhaust.

  4. oneighturbo says:

    über cow. das auto.

i’d go milltek over neuspeed. im running a 2.5″ TB from http://www.ghlmotorsports.com

  5. Derek says:

Reasons for going with Milltek over Neuspeed?

  6. kevinwin says:

you free this weekend for a “day” shoot? weekend is supposed to be sunny mid 50’s!

  7. Curtis says:

    Nice car! Keep it German!

Definitely. Axis was looking for some good daytime shots to add to their gallery.

  9. Andreas says:

I envy you this car so so much. It’s simply beautiful. And kudos for keeping it OEM. The black rims also fit it perfectly, and the white color is really the only color for this car. I wish I could afford something like that, but I’ll have you know that the baseline 2 door model of the R32 costs $127.000 new over here (Norway). Right, that’s the kind of moneyI have laying around…. (not). So, I’m stuck with this MkIII instead, sporting a hefty 75hp TD engine :D One day though, one day…

  10. Areus says:

Do you know what kind of camera he was filming with? Your car is gorgeous.

  11. CP says:

Superb video! I can’t wait for the full production. This really makes me miss my old MKIV VW Jetta.

  12. oneighturbo says:

I think Milltek has a strong reputation and history. Race proven too! Neuspeed makes good products but I think they just aren’t up to par with others out there.

Im not seeing anything on Neuspeeds site?

$ and sound will also come into play. HP gains as well.

    Your not chipped yet, right?

Ben (Smash) may have a bit more insight with the .:R32 in general. You researching on vwvortex? might find a groupby to. Thats how i got my GHL for a good $.

  13. Derek says:

Do you know what kind of camera he was filming with? Your car is gorgeous.

    Phil’s choice of hardware – Panasonic HVX200

Im not seeing anything on Neuspeeds site?.

It’s not officially on their site yet but you can find the item in their catalogue. There is also a group buy going on on the ‘tex – link.

  14. Areus says:

    You’re the man D.

  15. Ian says:

I’d get Uberkuh instead of Uber Cow. But hey, that’s just me.

And you might consider blurring the front license plate about 22 seconds in. Just a thought.

  16. Adam says:

It’s so fine! I love it, the color, the sound…

By the way, I’ve started listening to stateless over and over again thanks to you :)

By the way no 2, it’s such a shame one like yours costs 3 times as much in Poland as it does in the US… (prices start at $90k)
