What a task for Scrivens and the gang. The round 4 list of accepted submissions has been published on the 9rules blog. Tyme compiled a clickable list of the accepted entrants.
Some people have emailed me to tell me how fortunate we are to have so many sites submit during round 4 and admittedly it was a blessing and a curse at the same time. Going through 10 sites is not an easy task and multiply that by 70 and you have about 2 weeks of stress wrapped in a nice little package. Out of 700 sites, 111 were selected and many of the ones that weren’t selected were close, but either needed a little more time or a little more focus. I wish it was possible to send every site an email explaining what can be improved and maybe one day we will have a system in place, but for now we can only email the sites on this list.
700 individual sites to swim through… Yikes. Congrats to all those that entered and survived ![]()

Congratulations on making the cut yourself! I guess you’re gonna have to stop asking where your nine is, and instead figure out where it’s gonna fit best in the layout.
What a great problem to have to solve

So true. I guess the only thing left to do is to hear back from the 9rules gang, accept the members agreement, and yes… decide where to drop the colors.

Major, major congrats man. I know how much you wanted that so I’m happy for you. I just got a domain registered myself, so round 5, here I come!

Haha, Derek. I know how much you wanted this. Congrats! (And so modest — you didn’t make a full-fledged entry for this. Instead, it was relegated to the asides.)
I’ll be seeing you around the forums

As you state on your page, roll on round 5
Each time I visit your page I think wow, this guy really turned something simple into something sharp. Can’t wait to see your red rendition when it hits the front.

Thank you.. while I’m a little dejected that I didn’t make round four, it simply means I need to redouble my efforts for round five - I’m starting to hit my stride, so perhaps my chances will be better next round.
It’s about time 5thirtyone was recognised as worthy of 9rules inclusion, so you can imagine how thrilled I would be to eventually make the grade.
I look forward to seeing you fly the 9rules badge of honour.
