9rules, the blog network with [as Paul puts it] content to make you shit your pants every 10 seconds, announced their upcoming blog submission window slated for May 17th. The calendar has been marked. 5ThirtyOne is going to play a blind hand [read: 5ThirtyOne wants the color]. With great content up the wazoo, the honor of basking in the 9rules limelight sounds oh so surreal. I swear my yearning for membership extends beyond the Technicolor leaflet.

That was just the thing I was going to ask you about…join 9Rules. With your design skills, you should be a member.
Goodluck to you, then!

9rules is more than just pretty eyecandy / design. Even if it were design based, I’d have a long way to go to match some of the style on the 9rules network. The network is about quality - routinely updated - content.

I think you can definitely get in Derek. I, in the other hand, have been rejected for couple times. I guess I need more work on my content.

I read a lot of blogs, and a fair few are existing 9rules members. Of all the content I read I’d be surprised if you weren’t seriously considered by Scrivs and the team. You are a good designer with each iteration improving on the last but more importantly your content is interesting, thought provoking and you give back to your readers. The only question is whether they are looking for any more good designers or whether they are looking to broaden the subject matter on the network. Good luck.
